VLC is a free, cross-platform media player. It can be remote controlled through various interfaces such as Telnet or HTTP. VLC doesn't have to run on the same machine as SqueezeCenter.

The VlcPlayerPlugin provides the following features:

• Navigate through the media files in the playlist and display detailed file info
• Start playback of a selected media file
• Control playback (play, stop, pause, resume, next, previous, seek)
• "Now Playing" screen
• Stream Live Audio on device while Video is playing on Computer/TV/iTV/etc
• SqueezeCenter configuration page

Development of this plugin is underway and further information will be presented here once available. It is done when it is done.
