I've managed to get some of this working already, but I'm stumbling on the web interface. Using a free (GPL) tool called StreamRipper (available for all platforms - Linux/Windows/Mac/Unix), I should be able to enter start/stop times to record from a given URL. However, I am a bit concerned about the legality of this plugin.
