Random Playlist plugin

Overview

The Random Playlist plugin is a Slimserver plugin that provides similar playlists as the standard Random Mix plugin, but makes also it possible to exclude genres and already played tracks. The only reason I wrote this was that I wanted some completely random playlists to be available through the Dynamic Playlist plugin. At the time SQL Playlist playlist wasn't very user friendly so a simple random plugin like Random Playlist was needed. Today the SQL Playlist plugin is as user friendly as the Random Playlist plugin but SQL Playlist plugin provides a lot more flexibility.

Note!
Due to this there will probably not do any more development on the Random Playlist plugin, new functionality regarding random playlists will instead be done in the SQL Playlist plugin.

Installation

1. Download from http://erland.isaksson.info/download
2. Remove any previous version of Random Playlist from the Slimserver Plugins directory
3. Unzip the new version in the Slimserver Plugins directory
4. Install other plugins required for Random Playlist
   • Dynamic Playlist plugin

Note!
New functionality regarding random playlists will instead be implemented in the SQL Playlist plugin.
